Beltline Transit Study
The Atlanta Beltline Transit Study (BTS) is a two-year effort to develop a light rail/streetcar concept for the northwest, southeast, and southwest segments of the Atlanta Beltline. This study will identify a preferred transit concept and how it connects and complements existing and planned trails.
HB is responsible for stakeholder engagement and supporting Kimley-Horn and Atlanta Beltline, Inc. (ABI) with public engagement on the BTS, including identifying and engaging with issue-based and regional community stakeholders. We have a presence at pop-ups at neighborhood events, deploying yard signs, communicating through the project website, and supporting stakeholder roundtables. Our focus is engaging members of the public, community organizations, and other entities who have a vested interest in expanded and equitable transit options in the NW/SW/SE areas and neighborhoods of the BeltLine loop.
